[Proverbs 11:30 KJV] “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that winneth souls is wise.“
Soulwinning includes all the processes that leads to saving, redemption, and preserving of souls for eternity. These processes includes but not limited to praying, preaching, caring, teaching, and supporting converts.
It takes a lot of wisdom to win a soul and preserve him or her for eternity. So much work goes into the winning of souls and must remain the core business of the church. We must be committed to win some for Jesus at all cost. None should perish! We should do all things possible to win some for Christ. The Bible says “he that wins a soul is win.”
Join me as we spend the day praying and trusting God for the salvation and redemption of soul. Let us come together in faith and pray for soul. As we pray for souls, the Lord will work out our own salvation and deliverance. Do you remember, our father Job? In the midst of his affliction, God instructed him to pray for his friends and as he prayed for them, he found his own redemption. The Bible says the Lord turned again the captivity of Job as he prayed for his friends.
“And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.”
“Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.”
“So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.“
“And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.“
“So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. He had also seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.“
“And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations. So Job died, being old and full of days.” [Job 42:7-17 KJV]
As we put our own burdens aside and intercede for the souls, God will turn again our captivity.
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.“
[Daniel 12:1-3 KJV]
