[1 Samuel 13:11-13 KJV] “And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;”
“Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the Lord : I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.”
“And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever”.

I want to exhort you to stand with your pastor. To stand with your pastor is to enlist and stand faithfully with and by him.

Standing with your pastor in both good and bad times is one of the best gifts you can offer the servant of God. It is not an obligation but a good gift.
Standing with your pastor will help him to;
- Obey God’s commandments to him
- Plan more effectively. Data is important for planning
- Endure stress, pressure, and fear that he sometimes faces
- Not force himself to offer sacrifice he has not been mandated to.
Many ministers have over the years come under pressure to perform because their converts have not stayed faithful. There is nothing as frustrating as seeing people leaving and abandoning you in times of crisis.
I pray that you shall stand with your pastor in times of crisis and fear. Your pastor counts on your presence and faith sometimes.
You stand with your pastor
- By bearing him in prayer
- Being with him physically
- By identifying with him publicly
- By holding brief for him

Prayer points
- Pray that the Lord will help you to genuinely stand with your man of God.
- Pray that you will not be ashamed of your pastor nor his suffering
- Pray that you will stand and fight alongside your pastor
Stay blessed
