Think On This: What do you achieve by showing everyone that I was wrong?
One of the most subtle tools of the enemy is accusations and fault finding. This is one of his most effective poison against the church and the believer. Most often than not, the accuser feels very good; thinking that they have done the work of God when in fact, they have rather worked for the devil.
I want to submit that the church is already struggling to stand on its feet; the least we can do is to save her from crumpling under the weight of guilt and condemnation.
Let us learn to exhort and encourage each other rather than accusing. Dimming another person’s light will not make yours shine brighter, it will only make the room darker. Please, strive to prophesy to the edification of the body, rather than always trying to tell us what is wrong.
If we keep accusing others, we will destroy each other and make it difficult for the world to believe. Let us give up accusations and build confidence. We must strive to exhort and lift each other. This is the time to defend and not to pull down the brethren. The times are already difficult!
Bless you!
