The worst mistake any person can make is to look at things after the outward appearance. The Bible tells us clearly that though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. Many people are trapped in the devil‘s snare because they took their pastors for granted. The worst mistake is to think that your pastor is an ordinary man because he looks so ordinary.
[2 Corinthians 10:1-3 KJV] “Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:”
You must stop being carnal and start being spiritual. You must not look at things from a carnal perspective. Until you see things right and relate with them right, you will fail. We walk in the flesh alright, but we do not war after the flesh. The battle that is raging on in these last days is spiritual, and your pastors are no ordinary men. These are men and women of heavy spiritual doses. Don’t let the braggarts make you underrate your own pastor.
This is the time and season when we must begin to evaluate men and women from a spiritual perspective. You may be walking in the flesh but the battle that is raging is spiritual. I pray that the Lord shall enlighten you concerning what is going on around us. I pray that you will begin to hold your pastor in high esteem and in love. I pray that you shall not reduce life to the carnal realm.
There is more to life than what you think. I pray that the good Lord shall sustain you. May we arise and quit ourselves as men. I pray that you shall not reduce life to appearances! The Bible teaches us to understand that we are walking in the flesh, but we must war in the spirit.
Henceforth, know no man after the flesh. See your pastors in the right light. Hold them in high esteem and consider them as agents of life, no matter how simple they might look. Your pastor is a shepherd appointed to watch over you; over your soul and to give an account of your life. Stop looking at things after the outward appearance and fight with spiritual weapons.
Be blessed, I love you
