[Genesis 1:26-28 KJV] “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
At creation, even before the fall, God revealed the reality of spiritual warfare. The Lord revealed in the opening statement that there was something in the environment that could potentially hurt man. He instructed the first humans He created to subdue the earth.
This reveals clearly that the earth was rebellious and threatened to hurt man. Man was, however, given the power to be able to subdue the earth. We had what it took to tame the earth until we sold that authority to the devil cheaply.
One of such things in the environment that can hurt anyone of us are household wickedness. This type of wickedness has hurt many destinies and will continue to hurt many until we learn to deal with it.
Household wickedness is difficult to deal with because it is subtle. It looks like you mimics your nature and even speak your language. Household wickedness is difficult to deal with because of its subtle nature!
It requires discernment, providence and a courageous will to deal with it. It is so difficult but with discernment, providence and courageous will; we can deal with it. May you escape the schemes of darkness! Receive the touch of His power.
