[2] And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? [3] Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. [4] But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. [5] And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. [6] And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching”.

The potency of the anointing on a prophet and in a meeting is often amplified by the honour and acceptance he receives from his hearers. Anytime the devil makes you to dishonour your prophet, he actually succeeds in stealing your miracles and and supernatual breakthroughs.

Those who don’t believe as we do don’t belong with us. You must believe what we believe to receive the breakthrough that we receive. The church is in the golden age of miracles, but many congregations are missing it because they despise the grace on the life of their pastor and prophet. Until you learn to honour the grace and unction, you remain a perpertual spiritual Liliput.

The same anointed Jesus Christ, could not do many mighty works because of their unbelief. Doubt will rob you of power and unction. May the Lord help us to honour and respect the anointing!

If we really want the anointing to flow and we want to walk in the supernatural, we must honour the anointing and unction. God is ready to pour on us the grace and unction for greater works.

Connect and stick with those who share our faith and values:

Acts 2:44 tells us that those who believed were together and continued with one accord. Those who believed, were together. They were together because they believed together. People rise together if they believe together and live together.

Seperate yourself from those who are hardened and speak evil of the way:

In Acts 19:1-12, Apostle Paul did not countenance any kind of rebellion, hardening, and evil speaking. As long as people don’t conform to the teaching of Christ, they destroy the foundations to supernatural manifestations.

Continue steadfastly in your pastors’ doctrine and fellowship, prayer and breaking bread:

We must follow and feed on the truth these men share. We should strive to imitate our pastors as they follow Christ. Christ is our supreme example. As we learn to honour the word as we would honour Christ Himself, we step into the realm of the supernatural.

Indeed familiarity kills the supernatural. Once we become familiar with the anointing on the life of the pastor, we cheat ourselves out of the miraculous. May the Lord help us to kill familiarity! We can walk in a new realm of power and grace.

Stay blessed, I love you!

Noah Simpe
