[Matthew 6:31-34 KJV] “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof”.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is emphatic about the fact that it is needless to take thoughts of what to eat and what to wear and what to drink. Indeed, after these things do the gentiles seek. As a statement of truth, our Heavenly Father knows that we need these things and He is committed to providing them. We must not take thought of how to get these things; our father in heaven has promised to add them to us.
In fact, all those who seek the kingdom and righteousness of God need not worry about these things. As we seek the kingdom and righteousness of God, He adds these things to us. Our call to the faith is a call to a new life. We can be effective in and with our calling if we understand the following four key philosophies;
- Every conversion must lead to communion with and service to Christ.
- Every convert must grow strong in faith and be active in the local church.
- Every convert must be constantly renewing their knowledge about Christ and His word.
- Indeed, we may all not be great preachers but we can all make witnessing a lifestyle.
God wants us to reach the world around us until His house is filled. God wants us to go to the;
- Bidded
- Streets and lanes, and
- Highways and hedges.
Everyone of us can reach someone untill the house be filled.
- Purpose – place, date, duration, where, how
- Pray – pray alone, with staff, with deacons, and with church
- Plan – your resources, program, publicity
- Pool – Platform, power, people, and PA system
- Permit
- Publicise
- Preach – keep it simple, repeat it often, and let it burn
We have no excuse, the work must be done and must be finished. Arise and join the chariot. Many are heading the wrong direction without warning. Someone must preach the word.
Now this is our secret to supernatural supply; as we seek the kingdom and righteousness of God, choose to make witnessing a lifestyle, and grow strong in faith and get active in our local assembly, the Heavens will open and pour us blessings.
Stay blessed; I love you!
