One Day, God will Suspend all Protocols for Your Sake

And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?  If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.  For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.  Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.” (2 Kings 7:1‭-‬7 KJV)

Today I want to share with you how the Lord is about to suspend all protocols for your sake. The time has come for you to experience the goodness of the Lord. Whatever gains we have lost because of the leanness, I stand as a servant of God and I speak increase over your life.

The text we read follows a famine that occured in Samaria. This was a severe famine because Syria had laid a siege against Samaria. Syria terrorised Samaria until women ate their children, but one day the captor had to run away from the captive. The Lord overturned the tables and just the footsteps of four lepers put the enemy armies to flight.

In that day you will chase the thing that chased you. You will arise and the enemy armies shall take flight. Before that particular night Syria had laid a siege and Samaria had gone into hiding. When all protocols were suspended, Samaria did not even need an army.

Three steps to break the protocol and walk into unprecedented abundance are;

Look up to God and not to the king:

The women in chapter 6 called to the king for help but the king said “if the Lord does not help you who can help you?”. After the women were pointed to God, His majesty showed up. When they started looking up to Him, God sent His prophet with a word.

Believe His prophets:

I have already told you that ‘God does not speak just to be heard but He speaks to be obeyed’. “Believe the Lord and you will be establised; His prophets and you will prosper.” You must learn to esteem your pastor highly in love. You ought to celeberate his wisdom and leadership. Don’t put pressure on him to behave like other pastors. Allow him space to follow what God puts in his heart. Be there to volunteer, to plan and implement the visions God puts in his heart.

Act on your convictions:

The lepers acted on their convictions and intuition and they stumbled into abundance. From today, none of us will chicken out. We will step out boldly and act on our convictions and intuition. I pray for the release of power into your life. You will walk into the fullness and abundance of God, and nothing shall be able to stop you. Tomorrow by this time a measure of wheat shall be sold for a shekel. You will experience divine help. Your little effort will be argumented and amplified. Get ready for a breakthrough. Open your mouth wide and God will fill it.

Spread the news of what God is doing among you:

The lepers did not conceal their discovery. They acted immediately, and God suspended the protocol. Samaria was not supposed to eat food that lepers touched but God suspended the rule. The sacrifIce of Christ has suspended the curse of the law. We have been redeemed. God will send you helpers whose names you don’t know. You will be separated and equipped to help others you don’t know.
