The church is the body of the called-out
The church is the folds or assemblies of Christians that gather together in the name of the Lord to fellowship, study and mobilise resources to go into all the world to make disciples unto Christ.
The signs of a healthy church
A healthy church is characterized by certain things
- The fear of the Lord is upon every member
- God works signs, wonders, and miracles by the hand of the apostles among the people
- None lacks anything; the signs of prosperity and progress is evident among the members
- The church has favour with God and with men
- The church shows signs of growth both by addition and multiplication. The Lord added to their number such as are being saved. God did not add those looking for marriage; God does not add those looking for rent, school fees nor medical bills; God added to them that are being saved, not those looking for visa nor miracles nor healing; he added such as are being saved.
- Continue in one accord and extends patience, charity, and long suffering to one another.
Oh God start an evolution and a revival
Church that experiences the presence of God, prosperity, growth, love, favour and grace, fear of God; is the church that every member
- Humbles themselves to receive their pastors teaching with gladness
- Out of their own volution are added to the church and gladly align and stick with others.
- Continues steadfastly in the doctrine, prayer and fellowship of the apostles
- Cheerfully and faithfully give their offering, tithes and seed to support the ministry and the missionary effort of the church
- Dwell in unity and one accord with those who call upon God out of pure conscience
- Confront in love and in long-suffering, those living in sin; rather than gossip.
