Job 3:25-26 KJV — For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, And that which I was afraid of is come unto me. [26] I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; Yet trouble came.
Beloved, it’s human to fear sometimes. Sometimes we fear the unknown, known, the oblivious, the obvious; there are times when there is every reason to be afraid and at other times, there is no reason to fear. I exhort you to understand that the fear you don’t confront becomes your limitation.
Many years ago in Syria, Israel needed an audience with the king; and Esther, the then queen, was the vessel and bridge to connect the Hebrews with the king to hear their petition. In the beginning when Mordecai sent ambassadors to the queen, she was afraid to go because there was a law that prohibited her from coming into the presence of the king until, she was summoned. Esther was so afraid that she initially was reluctant but she understood that the fear you don’t confront, sets a limit over your life. Esther when she decided to confront her fear, requested that the people fast.
Esther 4:15-17 KJV — Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer, [16] Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. [17] So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him.
Sometimes, your anxiety and fear has a legitimate basis; but you are more than a conqueror! If you decide to confront your fear; you will win! You will break the limits and walk into the fullness of God. This is the beginning of a new day and era; may you win in all you do!
This is the time and season to receive grace and unction to confront every fear that dismay! Don’t slack! Don’t relax! It’s time to arise and fight to win!
