“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 KJV
I want to exhort you on the Holy Spirit. I desire to share with the world the most important person on earth today; His name is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God. We know that He is another Comforter of the same kind. He is the third person of the Trinity and the promise of the Father.
While our Lord Jesus walked the face of the earth, He talked about the promise of the Father. He revealed that the Father was about to restore to us the taste of glory. He revealed that you are going to have an encounter with the very Spirit of God. He promised that the Lord will immerse us in His own Spirit, and we shall both be soaked and filled.
He stated clearly that we shall receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon us. This morning is that day for some of us reading this. We are yet to encounter that power which the Lord talked about. The Lord is about to empower us to walk in that spirit dimension. We are about to experience that thing which will transform us into witnesses. We are called, but we must be empowered to be witnesses for Christ. That power that transforms ordinary men into witnesses is resident in the Holy Spirit.
I pray that God will usher every one of us into the dimensions of power that transform ordinary men into Christ’s witnesses. You will not miss your opportunity to be a witness; His power will transform you. This is your time, and now is the moment to hunger and tap into that grace. Quit trying to make it in your own might. You will be stressed and frustrated if you do that. The Holy Spirit is given to help you and empower you to function.
