The Mystery of Supernatural Supply

[Philippians 4:17‭-‬20 KJV] “Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.“

I want to speak to you on supernatural supply. Many of God’s previous children have been taught how to give but not how to receieve from His riches in glory. God supplies supernaturally but He uses and engages certain channels.

Common channels God uses include but not limited to;

1. Men:

One of the key channels of supply are men; some new doctrine is being taught that if you give and you don’t go to work, you will still be poor. That is not exactly true. I believe in work and hardworking but the Scriptures cannot be broken; when you give, God can cause men to give unto. Someone you know can still bless you and it’s still the work of God.

“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke 6:36‭-‬38 KJV)

2. Someone you have worked for or knew in the past:

Israel took wages that had accrued in the form of the silver and gold vessels they borrowed from the Egyptians. Jacob through divine guidance took just wages due him from Laban.

Serendipity:

The four lepers discovered abundance by chance; they did not plan or strategize, they just moved and discovered enough food. May the Lord lead you to discover wealth and riches in a supernatural way!

“Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight:”

“I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.” (Isaiah 45:1‭-‬4 KJV)

4. Inheritance:

One of the channels of supply is inheritance. Isaac became rich through inheritance. I pray that everyone of us shall take possession of all that our fathers have left for us. May you recieve the portion of inheritance due you!

5. Wages and earnings:

Your wages and earnings is also a channel of supply. Work, legitimate work is only one of the channels of supernatural supply. Inasmuch as everyman should find legitimate work, it is not the only channel to have your needs met.

6. Marriage

Marriage is one of the channel of supply. Though many have become miserable because of mistaken marriages, many other lives have been impacted through marriage. The wifes of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob were blessed because the men they married carry a blessing. May the Lord appoint you a marriage that will change your life for the better ever.
