[2 Corinthians 4:6-7, 10 KJV] “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.“
There are simple lessons that this piece of scripture teaches us:
- Every anointed man has something shinning in his heart and that anointing enables him to expound on the light of the knowledge of the glory of God.
- The anointing is a a treasure and possesses the excellency of power.
- The anointing does not insulate you from dishonest practices; you must decide to denounce them.
- The anointing does not insulate you from despair, you must also endure and trust God as any one else.
- The anointing does not take away your weakness; you must beat your body under.
The Holy Spirit is our helper, He helps what we choose to do. You must read the Scriptures before He can remind you of things you have read. You must be willing to act for Him to help you!
