[Psalm 150:1-6 KJV] “Praise ye the Lord . Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. [2] Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. [3] Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. [4] Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. [5] Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. [6] Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord . Praise ye the Lord”.
This psalm exhorts us to praise God, and goes on to teach us on the practice of praise. The psalmist is exhorting us to praise God in all that it takes.
The Bible teaches us to praise God in His Sanctuary and in the firmament of His power. We must learn to praise God when we come into His sanctuary; in the atmosphere of His power.
The psalmist tells us to praise God for His mighty acts; in fact according to the excellence of His greatness;
- With the sound of the trumpet.
- With the psaltery and harp.
- With the timbrel and a dance.
- With the stringed instrument and organ.
- Upon loud cymbals and high sounding cymbals.
- With everything that has breath.
We must learn to praise God with musical instruments, dances and with our breath, in the sanctuary of the Lord and in the firmament of His power. We must praise God for His excellent greatness and for His mighty acts.
Be blessed, I love you!
