Luke 8:49-50 KJV — While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead: trouble not the Master. [50] But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
The Bible is very clear on this; that the prime thing you need for a miracle or healing is to believe. Your faith is that key that ushers you into the realm of possibilities.
The text above is in reference to a young ruler that came to Jesus Christ seeking healing for his daughter. The Bible tells us the daughter died shortly afterwards, and when Jesus heard the report, He told the man not to be afraid but only believe. The only thing you need to step into the miracle arena is your faith.
It’s important to note that this faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith goes beyond one time hearing! It takes consistent and attentive hearing. You build faith when you hear the same thing again and again. You must always hear the same things to build your faith. Faith comes by hearing.
