We have been praying for the empowerment of the Spirit to do more in life. If we want to succeed and significantly contribute to life, then the game changer is the anointing or the enabling of the Spirit of God. The truth, however, remains that the anointing works better and more effectively in the presence of God.
Jesus Christ did more because God was with Him. Joseph did more because the Lord was with him. Laban testified that he was blessed because Jacob came; and the truth is God was with Jacob.
Even after being anointed, we need the presence of the Lord to go with us. The Lord promised the early church that He will be with them to the end of the age. And indeed, He went with them, confirming their words with signs following.
[Acts 10:38 KJV] “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
I want to share with you, five (5) simple secrets to provoke the presence of God. Here is how to stir the presence of God to amplifier your effort.
1. Praise:
The Bible says “God inhabits the praises of His people.” When we sing and praise and worship as Paul and Silas did, the presence of God is provoked. Your praise stirs the Lord as a man of war, doing wonders.
2. Prayer:
We know that in Acts 2 and in Acts 4:23-31, when the early church gathered to pray, the Holy Ghost came down and filled them. Prayer brings in the presence of God. When we pray, He answers with His presence, and remember, He is a consuming fire. His presence consumes the chains and hedges of the enemy.
3. Assembling ourselves:
The Bible says “where two or three gather together in my name, there I am in their midst” If you want to command the presence of God which will amplify your effort, then honour the assembling together of ourselves.
4. Learn to minister to the Lord:
In Acts 13, when the early apostles gathered to pray and to minister to the Lord, the Holy Ghost came down to speak and empower them.
5. Being separated unto Him:
The last secret to stirring the presence of God is being separated unto Him. The Bible says when “we come out from among them, and we will be His people and he shall be our God”. Holiness is the secret to see God. Without holiness, no man shall see God. We must be separated!
I pray that the Lord shall bless us with His presence. When the Lord is with you, you have an abundant supply, you enjoy safety and safe passage; He will dry up the seas if need be; He will rebuke nations for your sake; He will carry you on eagle’s wings. May he bless you with his presence in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer focus
Pray that the name of the Lord shall become your strong tower to shield you from the missiles of the enemy. May you find a hiding place under the cover of His name! May His name defend us in times of trouble! Pray!
Pray that the Lord shall count you worthy to stand in the gates of decision-making. May the Lord count us worthy to stand in His courts! May you never be rejected from the congregation of the Lord. Pray!
May the Lord cause me to rise and rise and rise again to the place you have appointed for me! Pray that any barriers preventing you from rising to the next level will be broken. Pray that God shall bring you promotion and lifting in the coming year! Pray in Jesus’ name!
Pray that the Lord shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory. Pray that the Lord 6will sustain you with wheat and wine, milk and corn! Pray that you shall not lack in 2021! We shall not lack any good things in the coming year!
Decree with me that we shall not lack direction. The Lord shall lead us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. None of us will miss the way. You shall be directed by the Lord!
We declare that any manipulation, schemes, and decrees against our lives are burning to ashes! You shall soar above satanic missiles and stay safe. Now shall be lost in the coming year. May the Lord defend and deliver every one of us!
Pray and forgive anyone who has trespassed against you. We destroy any legal basis by which devils come into our lives to afflict us. May the Lord sanctify each of us, spirit, soul, and body. May we be purged by blood and by the word.
