[Matthew 6:9-13 KJV] “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
The secret to an ever-increasing, ever-flourishing, evergreen life is prayer. The believer that prays stays fresh. If you don’t want the life and fire in you to go out then you must learn to pray without ceasing. You must maintain a prayer life that seeks to;
- Strengthen your relationship with the Father
- Hallow and honour the name of the Lord
- Advance the kingdom and will of God
- Depends on God for provision, forgiveness, protection, providence, and direction.
- Humble us under the mighty hand of God and acknowledge that the kingdom, power, and glory belong to God.
May today mark the beginning of pursuing an ever-increasing life. The secret that gives life to faith is the speaking or praying of faith. The spirit of faith is in speaking of what you believe. Prayer is what sustains faith. May the Lord help us to maintain a positive prayer life. As we wait on God this day, I pray that the spirit of prayer and prophecy will be poured upon you.
May the Lord draw you close to His side, may you begin to experience His touch and love like never before. As we step into the coming season, may your prayer life be transformed! May you discover the joy of His presence! May you find the delight of talking to God!
I pray that the Holy Spirit shall take over and help our infirmities to pray like never before. May you receive the enabling grace to pray and pray effectively! May the fire of prayer be revived! May you never grow weak in prayer! Receive a renewed strength to continue in prayer and His presence. Lift up your voice and;
- Pray that God will draw each of us into a deeper relationship with Him. May the Lord draw us close to Himself!
- Pray that the Lord will draw men into the fold. Pray that the wind of the Spirit will gather the souls and draw them into a deeper relationship with Him.
- Pray that the will of God will be done in your family and your life. Pray for grace to walk in His will.
- Pray that the Lord will give us our daily bread. Pray that He shall prosper the works of your hands. Pray that the Lord shall keep you from evil! Pray that the Lord shall lead and deliver us from temptations. Pray that new doors shall be opened unto us to prosper.
- Pray that God will forgive and deliver us from the harmful effects of sin and iniquity. Pray for forgiveness and deliverance. Pray!
- Begin to thank God; if He had not sustained us, we would have been finished.
