In the text above, it seems to me that faith and obedience are synonymous. It seems to me that when people truly believe, they obey.
[James 2:26 KJV] “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also”.

Discussion
The Bible is clear on this, that Abraham believed and obeyed. When God called him, he believed the promised and came out not even knowing where he was going. Your true faith is what you obey. When you truly believe, you will obey.
Many of us are ascribing to faith we don’t have and that is why we don’t get results. When you believe, you must obey; this is because faith without works is dead. You must have works with your faith.
Whatever you claim you believe and don’t obey is a lie. Whatever you believe, you obey. Show me what you believe by what you obey. There are too many people professing things they don’t keep.
I pray that the Lord will give us the boldness to keep what we believe. May we never fail or falter! The Lord will keep you from slipping, Amen!
Be blessed; I love you!
