I want to speak today about building memorials that catches the attention of God. You must and can build these memorials. Let us read about a man who caught the attention of God.
[Acts 10:1-4 KJV] “There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.”
“He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.”
A memorial is a statue or structure or statement of fact established to remind people of a person or event. A memorial that touches heaven is, therefore, a statue or structure or a statement of fact established to remind heaven of you.
Three things catch the attention of God
- Prayer and the giving of alms
- A contrite heart and a broken spirit
- Your labour of love and ministry to the saints
These are the three things that catch the eye of heaven. These are the 3 things that rise as memorials before God.
[Psalms 51:17 KJV] “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”
I have no doubt.
[Hebrews 6:10 KJV] “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister”.
The Bible reveals that these three things will catch the eye of God. May the good Lord take notice of us. You will not die in obscurity, may heaven see you. I believe that the little little things you do for others will pay off soon. Heaven will take notice and visit you for miracles. May you walk from one level of glory to another.
Stay blessed
