Treading upon Serpents and Scorpions

I want to speak to you today about treading upon serpents and scorpions, and over every power of the enemy.

[Luke 10:17‭-‬20 KJV] “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven”.

It is unfortunate that many of us are unaware of the vast wickedness that dwells in the realms of the dark world. Even though many people know of devils and witches, they are oblivious to the existence of serpents and scorpions and powers. In fact, often, while we are busy casting out devils, there are serpents and scorpions and powers that the wicked one projects to harm us

The missionaries returned with joy, rejoicing that devils were subject to them, but they were unaware that there were serpents and scorpions and powers that are seeking to hurt them. Sometimes, we get so busy serving that we lose sight of the realms of evil that exist in this world.

As we wait on God today, we don’t want to lose sight of the real evil out there seeking to hurt the church. We are going to arise to activate the authority we have to discomfit every satanic serpents, scorpions, and powers. God has given us that authority and we must activate and use it.
Serpents stand for the complex intelligence and wisdom of devils, which is taught and falsely called science:

This is the wisdom that perpetuates real wickedness and unforgiveness. We have the authority to demolish complex occultic claims that are falsely called science. Many of us have become demon-possessed because we bought into things, thinking it was science when they were satanism.

[1 Timothy 6:20‭-‬21 KJV] “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen”.

This is the wisdom of the world that tries to play down on faith. It is my desire that you shall activate supernatural smartness to outwit the devil. I prophesy that any satanic smartness and wicked scheme projected against you to harm you shall be met with fire, in the name of Jesus!

[James 3:15‭-‬18 KJV] “This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace”.

Many of us are playing with things we must kill. We call them science but they’re occultism. We call them wisdom but they’re devilish. I pray for you and me, that our authority and smartness shall be activated to outwit the devil, Amen!

Scorpions represent wickedness and affliction perpetuated by devils against children of God:

These are thorns in the flesh, as in the case of Apostle Paul, to afflict him. These thorns are meant to afflict soldiers of the cross. You have the authority to tread upon them. From the account of Rehoboam and Jeroboam, scorpions represent the king’s whips, policies, and laws that are meant to cause sufferings to people who are faithful to God. As we wait on God, we are exercising our authority over bad policies that cause afflictions.

Any policy, like the one that trapped Daniel and took him to the lion’s den, or the one that trapped Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and took them the furnace of fire must be crushed in the name of Jesus Christ. I pray that you will arise to crush the policies of devils in your family house, workplace, community, or among your generation, in the name of Jesus.

Powers are satanic powers and abilities demonstrated to deceive the fickle-minded:

We see such powers on display when Pharoah’s magicians also turned their rods into snakes.

The Lord is giving you greater power today to outperform any power of darkness. I pray that you shall escape the trapping of false signs and wonders. May the Lord give you higher power and dominion over every satanic power, in Jesus’s name, Amen!

You shall receive an activated power and overcome every satanic scheme. You shall escape and you shall not fail. You will win and this day shall be into us a day of power and authority!
