I have always been saying that life and living go beyond what meets the eye. Highly effective people always live their lives conscious of this fact.
Until you wake up to realize that there is more to life than meets the eye and that it takes more than mere effort, you will not go far.
Life is more than food and clothing and supplies. There is more to life than that.
We, therefore, want to discuss three factors that impact the outcome of life more significantly.
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
- The love of God
- The communion of the Holy Ghost
[2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV] “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.”
1. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ brings salvation, teaches us to depart from evil, enables us to endure buffeting and enables us to deliver results.
[Titus 2:11-14 KJV] “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works”.
Apostle Paul acknowledges that he is what he is by the grace of God. The grace of God makes all the difference. Grace will set you above and not beneath. Grace empowers and sets apart.
[1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV] “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
2. The love of God
The love of God covers multitudes of wrongs, leads to divine election, saves, and sets apart. The love of God makes a big difference.
[Romans 5:8 KJV] “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Love moves God to save the helpless humanity. God commended His love towards us, while we were yet sinners.
[Romans 9:10-13 KJV]“And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.”
3. The communion of the Holy Spirit in life
The communion of the Holy Ghost releases power, brings abundant revelations, brings inspired utterances, and facilitates the manifestations of signs and wonders.
The Bible teaches that;
[Acts 1:8 KJV] “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
We do not doubt that these three factors make a big difference.
[Acts 2:16-21 KJV] “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”
“And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:”
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
We must not take the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Ghost for granted. I do not doubt that these three factors will impact your life so much.
We should all pray for more grace, greater love, and deeper fellowship or communion of the Holy Ghost.
Stay blessed
