Acts 4:23-24, 31 KJV — And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. [24] And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:…
[31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Attending prayer meetings potentially improves your life in many ways. THREE of such WAYS in which attending prayer service will improve your life are:
Empowerment
You get empowered. The place of prayer is a place of divine exchange. When our prayer and praise goes up in faith, His power and miracles comes down graciously. The Lord said in Acts 1:8, you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you.
In Acts 4, after they had prayed the place shook and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Those who were at the prayer meeting were filled. Prayer meetings empower you.
Restoration
Acts 8:11 reveals that if the spirit of Him that raised Christ from the dead, abides in us, he shall quicken our mortal bodies. You will be healed and restored. Prayer changes you and one of such changes is healing and restoration. If the people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, I will hear and heal their lands.
Healing and restoration is coming. When the Holy Spirit is poured upon us our wilderness shall become a fruitful field. Prayers will restore your wholeness.
Refreshing
You will be refreshed. The times of refreshing will come upon you in prayer meetings. No time spent in the presence of God is a waste of time. When we come together in the presence of the Lord, we leave very refreshed and rejuvenated. May the refreshing times come upon you in the name of Jesus Christ!
Time spent in the presence of God is not waste. It is an investment into your future and eternity. I pray that you shall prepare and make time to be in the presence of God.
Stay blessed
