Why We Must Resist Unclean Spirits

Unclean spirits and strange personalities are Satan’s evil agents sent to deceive and create doubt about the existence, purpose and goodness of God.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (9) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  (10) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you (1 Peter 5:8-10 KJV)

​Remember, demons are real, powerful, intelligent and crafty; but they can be resisted by those who have the power and authority from God.

Indeed, demons can and must be resisted steadfast in the faith by the people of God. Why then should we resist unclean spirits? We should because if we don’t subdue them because;

1. Unclean spirit will accuse and trouble you with guilt; because they have a database on you (Zechariah 5:5-11); the devil is an accuser of the brethren (Revelations 12:10)
2. They hide behind causes to steal, kill, and destroy your righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Ghost. They will destroy your faith, hope and love. When unclean spirits gain access to your life they will attack your salvation, prosperity and health. They will attack your spirit, soul, body, relationships and work. (John 10:9-10)
3. Unclean spirits enter in to destroy you. Luke 11:22-26 teaches that when unclean spirits enter into a man his state deteriorate. They entered into Judas and eventually destroyed him. (Luke 22:3; John 13:27)
4. They fill your heart and mind with unclean thoughts:  Acts 5:1-4 shows the end of Ananias when he allowed unclean spirits in his life.
5. An unclean spirit can marry you and or your children as they choose (Genesis 6:1-2)
6. They devour, afflict, and bind you with sicknesses, and other conditions (1 Peter 5:8-10; Luke 13: 16)
7. Unclean spirits can fill you with evil teachings and doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1-5; Revelation 2:20)
8. They hinder, withstand and provoke you to disobey God.
9. Demons will demand worship

We must arise and resist unclean spirits. You can, so arise and don’t allow unclean spirits to destroy your beautiful life.
