[Romans 1:15-18 KJV] “So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. [17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. [18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;”
We are living in a time when many are afraid and anxious. All men are asking one question, where is God and where are the men of God? Well, I want to speak to you briefly on the theme, the power of God to save.
There are three keywords in the theme; releasing or unleashing or projecting forward, then the power of God, and to save.
Save comes from the Greek word Sozo which connotes to save, heal, protect, and liberate.
So then we can say that we are learning about the process to unleash the power of God which is the gospel of Christ to liberate, save, heal, and protect the world. We are living in uncertain times and this is when the world needs the power of God than ever.
This power is the gospel and the process of releasing this power is preaching. Therefore, the preaching of the gospel is the power of God to save. If we want to see the salvation of the Lord in the land of the living, we must arise and continue to testify. The power of God to save, heal, liberate, prosper, and protect is released through the preaching of the gospel. We must preach, we must testify, we must witness. We should not leave the secret of prayer and the preaching of the gospel to serve tables.
It is absurd to find firefighters distributing life essential when fire is destroying life and property. The time is now for the clergy and minister to enter the closet of prayer and platforms of power to declare that Jesus Christ is alive.
[1 Corinthians 1:17-25 KJV] “For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. [18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. [19] For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. [20] Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? [21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. [22] For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: [23] But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; [24] But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. [25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
This is the time of the gospel to be preached, this is the time when your testimony and testifying is needed the most. This is the time to preach, teach, testify, and witness, this is the time because the wisdom of the world has failed them. God has, therefore, chosen to save the world by the preaching of the cross. This is the time to arise and declare the victory of the cross.
This is not the time to change the message. This is the time to preach the cross and to seek God. Just as Moses, in his days, pointed Israel to the brass serpent in the wilderness when they were bitten by serpents, we must point the world plagued by virus to the cross and the man who hangs on it. Our victory over COVID-19 or any other infirmity is the cross of Christ.
We cannot shirk back, we must arise to prayer and to testifying. The world must hear the gospel; this is the power of God to save. It is the power to liberate and heal. Shout gospel in the street and release power to heal and restore. Together, we can save this generation.
Be blessed, I love you!
