God can use any man, but He only honours those who purge themselves. I want to exhort you to aspire to become “a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and appropriate for the master‘s use and prepared for every good work.” I do not doubt that God can use anything or anyone.
I recall when we sang, “you can use anything Lord; you can use me!” Yes! God can use anything, but you must aspire to become a vessel unto honour. A vessel to be honoured by both God and men. This is what we must aspire for; to become servants that can be honoured by God and men. It is not just about serving; it’s about serving the Lord in a way that you can be honoured.
We may not all be vessels of gold or silver or wood or earth; some are vessels of gold, some of silver, some of wood, and others are of earth. In any case and way you look at it, every one of us can become a vessel unto honour.
Every one of us can become a vessel unto honour that is sanctified, appropriate for the Master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
[2 Timothy 2:20-22 KJV] “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.”
:If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”
“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart“.
The simple tips to become a vessel unto honour is to;
- Purge yourself of the world
- Flee youthful lust
- Follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
These are the three simple tips to become a vessel unto honour. The truth, however, remains that God can use anyone but God only honours those who purge, flee, and follow.
I love you!
