Victorious Christian living; is it really possible? Is it possible to live in an authentic and real way? Yes! It is possible to live the Christian life. God will not require something that is impossible to achieve. He is too loving to make unreasonable demands.
The simple secret to live the victorious Christian life is to;
Admit that no one is perfect:
This admission has two great benefits, it makes you open to correction and also tolerant of other people’s mistakes. It makes makes you understand the need for repentance and grace for effective living. Roman 3:23 teaches that “all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God“. Indeed, all may not be sinning today, but before you knew right from wrong you sinned. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. No matter how flawless you look, you are still not flawless when you stand before the glory of God.
Believe or admit that Jesus Christ gives power to those who believe on Him, even to those who believe on His name, to become children of God;
[John 1:12 KJV] “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
What God is seeking is not smarter sinners, but transformed people. The victorious Christian life is not devising smarter ways to sin without being caught, but rather, seeking for greater power and wisdom to live more God-like. Jesus gives grace and power to those who trust Him to pay for their sins. You know when you trust Jesus to pay for your sins, He is crucified anew anytime you sin; He, therefore, willingly gives you grace to walk in victory. He leads you in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Continue steadfastly in the brotherhood, doctrine, fellowship, prayer, spiritual eating, fear of the Lord, and offering sacrifices.
[Acts 2:42 KJV] “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers”.
Stay blessed; I love you!
