I want to exhort you today on the need to wait on the Lord. The truth is, none of us should be discouraged waiting on the Lord. God is good, faithful and able, and He will never leave you to the mercy of your enemies.
[Psalms 27:14 KJV] “Wait on the Lord : be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord”
He will be your guide and show up when you call upon Him and seek His face. The Lord will guide your lips and hearts even in challenging times. Let us learn to wait on Him.
Pray that the Lord would;
- Teach you His ways and lead you in plain paths.
- Deliver you from your enemies and never deliver you to them.
- Help you believe and hope that you will see His goodness in the land of the living.
[Psalms 27:11-14 KJV] “Teach me thy way, O Lord , and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord : be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord”.
Those who wait on the Lord renew their strength and become rejuvenated to soar in life. Waiting on the Lord however, does not mean hibernating.
To wait on the Lord is to stay in His way, trusting that He will bring you to the expected end no matter how long it takes.
To wait on the Lord means to do things God’s way. To read and walk in what He has said about your situation in the hope that He will show forth to help you.
Waiting on the Lord is sometimes terrifying. Waiting on the Lord can create uncertainty but with courage, you can make it.
It pays to wait on the Lord and that is why I will exhort you to keep waiting and trusting in His arms and in His love. This is the only way that works with low risk.
No man who ever waited on the Lord lost out in life. You will make it if you learn, trust and wait.
I love you; stay blessed.
