[2 Corinthians 10:2-6 KJV]”But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled“
The Bible teaches that we are not fighting in this spiritual battle empty handed; we indeed have weapons which are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God; and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We really have weapons that are not carnal but mighty through God.
What then are these weapons? Revelation 12:7-12 teaches us of three effective weapons;
- The blood of Jesus Christ.
- The word of our testimony.
- Not loving our lives even unto death.
The devil has however designed three effective weapons to neutralise the efficacy of these weapons. They are sin, accusation, and intimidation.
We can overcome darkness when we employ these weapons against darkness. We must walk in righteousness, have a lifestyle of testifying, and be open to all possibilities. The devil uses weapons of sin, accusations, and fear to neutralise our effectiveness.
You will not fail; we will win when we walk in this reality. We have weapons; real spiritual weapons. These weapons are effective; when properly engaged.
