Daniel 12:1-4 KJV — “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”
[2] “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. [3] And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. [4] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.“
I want to exhort you to turn men to righteousness; the Bible teaches that those who turn men to righteousness shall shine as stars forever. We know that there shall be a time of tribulation and the resurrection; when some shall rise to life and glory and others to shame and everlasting contempt; but the Bible teaches that those who shall turn many to righteousness shall shine as stars.
What does it take to turn men to righteousness? What will it take if we can turn men to righteousness? What will it take to win some for Christ? The five things it will take to turn men to righteousness and shine like a star are;
Prayer (travail, intercession, and warfare)
The first step towards turning men to righteousness is prayer and thanksgiving and intercession. This is what the apostle teaches. The God of this age has blinded the minds of men, we must first of all bury ourselves in prayer and see the veils removed.
Separation and presentation
Good grooming and godly separation are the two other things, it will take to turn men to righteousness. Men will mostly see what you look and wear before they hear what you have to say. No wonder, prophets of old dressed in a particular way. Your hearers must discern your ministry through your presentation. People will see what you look and do before they hear. You are an epistle that is being read and you must write a great story.
Go forth and preach Christ
Those who turn men to righteousness go forth and preach Christ. There is no name given under heaven by which men ought to be saved except the name of Jesus. If you really want men to come to righteousness, preach Christ and Him crucified. Christ is the message.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needs not be ashamed.
The Bible is to a witness, what anatomy is to a physician. You must be able to rightly divide the word of truth. You don’t need to know the whole Bible but you must know one thing well and thoroughly.
Become all things to all men.
