The devil is the real person and power behind all of man’s problems, challenges and disobedience.

[John 10:9-10] “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”.

There is a demonic spirit behind every one of man’s problems and challenges. Somehow the thief has convinced us all of your problems-illness, defeats, poverty, depressions, and anxieties-have nothing to do with demonic powers. He makes you think you are the cause of your problems or an in-law or your spouse or bad childhood or hormonal imbalances or whatever.

There are demonic powers and spirits behind most if not all of man’s challenges and problems.

He was behind Adam and Eve disobedience.
He was behind Job’s calamities;
He was behind David numbering Israel
He was behind the arrest and subsequent crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Satan was behind Judas betraying Jesus.
Satan was behind Peter denying Jesus
Satan was behind Ananias and Saphira lying to the Holy Ghost.
The devil is behind sickness, torments, oppression and vexations.

Today, this same Lucifer is behind political unrest, religious persecutions, economic woes and deadly diseases that afflict mankind.

We would be stupid to buy into his claim that he is not behind the gross wickedness and torment that is unleashed upon humanity today.

[Genesis 3:13-14] “And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat (14) And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:”

In the beginning, the serpent beguiled Eve. The devil showed up in the Garden of Eden and there was a mess.

In Job 1 and 2 reveal very clearly how the devil was behind the troubles of Job: the accident that killed his children, the robbers that attacked his herdsmen, the sicknesses that attacked his body and all the losses he made in business. The devil was behind every little detail of the attack.

[1 Chronicles 21:1] “And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel”.

I am sure nothing is so clear as the preceding scripture. Satan stood up against Israel and moved David. Today Satan is moving a lot of people to disobey God but today you have overcome! Amen

[Luke 22:52-54] “Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? (53) When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. (54) Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.

Jesus Christ did not mince words when he told the Jewish leaders that it was their hour; it was also an hour of the powers of darkness.

[Luke 22:1-5] “Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. (2) And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. (3) Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. (4) And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. (5) And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money”.

Isn’t it obvious to you who was influencing Judas? In this example we see that Christians can be possessed and even used by devils. Judas was one of the twelve apostles. He was a powerful man that cast out devils yet Satan could enter him and use him.

[Luke 22:31-34] “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: (32) But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. (33) And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. (34) And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me”.

You can now see that Satan can desire to have a chief apostle. Satan desired to have Peter. I am sure Satan is desiring to have you, but I pray for you now. You are delivered from his lure in Jesus’ name! Amen

[Acts 5:1-3] “But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, (2) And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. (3) But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

In this incident also we see Satan using an apostle and his wife. Listen Satan is a beast and if entertain him, he would mess you up. Be vigilant.

[Acts 5:16] “There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one”.

Evil spirits are vexing many with suffering and infirmity.

Though the devil is a real person and the power behind suffering and anarchy; he works through:

Though the devil is real, power and vicious they can be destroyed and they know it

[Mark 1:21-26] “And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. (22) And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. (23) And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, (24) Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

(25) And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. (26) And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
