I have heard the cliche, ‘whom you know’ Indeed, whom you know matters a lot in today’s world, but I am sorry to announce to you that somethings will take something more than whom you know.
Many years ago when the angel announced the birth of the Prince of Peace, Mary wondered how it shall be. She did not doubt what God can do, but she knew that God is righteous and would not have her act in perversion. She was not married and had not known a man, so why speak about pregnancy and childbirth.
[Luke 1:34-35 KJV] “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”
Indeed, you must naturally know a man before you can be with child; but somethings take more than whom you know, whom you have known, or whom you shall know. Somethings take a bath in the spirit. You will need the overshadowing presence of both the Spirit and power of the Most High.
There is nothing we can do about it. It will be by election.
[Romans 9:10-16 KJV] “And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)”
“It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.”
“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”
It is by predestination
[Romans 8:28-30 KJV] “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
Will the Lord find you worthy and faithful?
[Psalms 89:20 KJV] “I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:”
Sometimes, all it takes is to have the heart of compassion, a tongue with the law of kindness, and be found faithful at all times. Mary was just a little village girl that God found faithful and could be trusted with seed. She was this young woman who was ready to suffer the inconvenience of carrying the seed of God for nine months.
The truth is, she did not know a man but she was ready to come under the sweet influence of the Holy Ghost. All she needed for this experience was the presence of the Spirit and power of the Most High. I do not doubt that you are at that place to experience the power of God. You will rise and see the goodness of the Lord. May God find you faithful.
Stay blessed, I love you
