Exhortation
In the beginning God created a man called Adam; then God saw that it was not good for a man to be alone; He therefore decided that He will make him a help meet for him. Remember the Bible says clearly that God created man in His own image and after His likeness. We understand therefore that Eve was created in the image and likeness of God but Eve was deceived by the demons of the new age movement.
The new age movement and witchcraft have existed since the beginning. The devil questioned and cast doubts about the identity of Eve. The devil deceived Eve that she will become like God if she ate the fruit of a particular tree in the garden; when in fact Eve was already created in the image and the likeness of God. Eve fell from the grace of God because she felt she had to do something to look like God.
The same demons are around today, deceiving a whole generation of men and women to fall from grace. These demons make it look like you need to discover who you are and what spirit animal is. The truth remains that you are created in the image and the likeness of God. Even after the fall, the Bible says;
- He that is born of the spirit is spirit
- He that is born of the flesh is flesh
If you are not yet born of the spirit, you are flesh but created in the image of God. If you are born of the spirit, you are spirit created in the image of God; and recreated to partake of His divine nature.
You don’t have to identify as anything. Your identity is already defined. You are created in the image and the likeness of God, but as a result of the fall, you must be recreated by grace to partake of the divine nature of God.
Personal prayer
Pray that God will help you to believe in Him, to take Him at His word that you are recreated to partake of His divine nature. Pray that you will walk in this light and never be deceived by the spirits of deception and witchcraft. May the Lord protect you and your household from the heresy of the new age witchcraft.
