Isaiah 48:17-19 KJV – saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. [18] O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
[19] thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
If you are still reading this message, it means you are hungry for growth. It means you really want to see an increase in every area of your life.
The simple secret to coming out of stunted growth and stagnation is to ask the right questions: why is this church not growing? why is this business not growing? Why is my life not improving? Once we ask these questions honestly, we will begin to find the answers that will bring prosperity. Many of us have not experienced growth and increase because we have not listened to the voice of God. Our carnality got in the way and we could not listen to the voice of the Lord.
In Isaiah 48, the Lord states very clearly that He is the God who;
- Teaches us to make profit
- Leads us in the way we should go
The Lord went further to state that, if only we had hearken into Him, then;
- Our peace would have been as a river,
- Our righteousness as the waves of the sea:
- Our seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel
Many of our churches didn’t grow, and lives didn’t change much because we didn’t listen to the Lord. We leaned on our own understanding. May the Lord help us to listen!
Stay blessed
