I want to exhort you to liberate your soul to always bless the Lord. Your soul must always bless the Lord. I have decided that my soul will always bless the Lord; I will never forget His benefits.
[Psalms 103:1-5 KJV] “Bless the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Sometimes we find it difficult to bless the name of the Lord because we forget His benefits. Many of us murmur because we have not bought cars or are not earning six digits or have not built houses. But this Psalm is teaching us that if there is anything we must be grateful and thankful for, it should be because;
- He forgives our iniquities
- He heals our infirmities
- He redeems our lives from distraction
- He crowns us with loving kindness and mercies
- He satisfies our mouth with good things
- He renews our youth like the eagle
These are the greatest blessing and benefits of following God that we should be grateful for. These are things God does for us and these are things we can continue to believe God to do for us. He forgives, heals, redeems, crowns, satisfies, and renews; He will not leave us to rot. The Lord is willing and ready to do all these things for us. This is not the main menu at the table, these are benefits we enjoy by simply trusting Him.
But today, we want to pray and trust that the Lord will continue to forgive our sins, heal our diseases, redeem us from destruction, crown us with loving kindness and mercies, satisfy us with good things, and renew our youth. We want to pray and trust that it will work for us. We depend on Him and that is where our hope is. May the Lord continue to preserve us in this COVID season! Let us stop the fear and breed fresh hope! The Lord will keep and sustain you in all your days!
Stay blessed, I love you
