I know many of us wonder why some Christians do better than us or why some Christians do better than others in general, when in fact we have obtained like precious faith and great promises.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:2-4 )

Some Christians do better than others because;
- They make peace with their past, take hold of the present, and look into the future with hope.
- They are planted in the house of God and continue in the steps of faith (Psalm 92:13-15)
- They are instructed: They receive the word of God with gladness, mix it with faith, and meditate on the word of the Lord day and night (Psalm 1, Joshua 1:6-9)
- They are focused: They till their own land
- They are diligent. They are organised and forthright about their business
- They are taught: In all their getting, they get wisdom.
- They are dedicated: giving themselves wholly to their purpose.
- They are structured: They put in structures and systems.
May you excel better as you make a quality decision to cultivate these 8 traits into your own life.

Amen. I receive the grace to do better this year. What is past is past. Nothing can be done about it. I let go of the past, take advantage of the present, and with focus press into the future with with hope.

Wow… great insight. I used to wonder why we serve the same God but some seem to do well why others are struggling mean while God is not a respecter of persons. I can see from this lesson that your extent of doing well depends on how best you can follow these steps. Thank you for the word. I pray for Grace to practice them.
