I want to begin by exhorting you on some of the realities you must not take for granted. Many of us are in church, yet we don’t even know what we believe. The Lord, however, wants us to know what we believe and hold fast to them.
It is important to state that though we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God, in the fullness of time, God sent His only begotten Son to;
- Seek and save that which is lost
- Destroy the works of darkness
- Give rest to those who come to Him, take His yoke upon themselves and learn from Him
- Give us life, that we may abound with life
- Make a way in His own body to give us access to the Father.
We know without doubt that these are realities we can’t overlook. The Bible teaches that “the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost”. None shall and should be lost. God has an agenda to save and redeem us from every shame and disgrace.
[Luke 19:10 KJV] “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost”.
The Bible assures us that the Son of Man was manifest to destroy the works of darkness. There are many things that have risen against us, but God sent His only Begotten to destroy those works, that we shall be able to live the abundant life. Trust that God will destroy the work that attacks your life.
[1 John 3:8 KJV] “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”
It is important to note that as we worship at His feet, we inherit a more-than-enough life. We inherit eternal life and have more than enough;
[Matthew 11:28-30 KJV] “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Stay blessed
Praise the Lord!
Now I see why the enemy will not allow me to come worship at the Lord’s feet.
I receive abundant life and more than enough life.
I receive grace to always come worship at His feet.
God richly bless you Bishop for such a wonderful word
