Sandra and I gained a great deal of peace in our lives and ministry when we understood the truth I am about to share with you.
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness (1 John 5:19 KJV)
From the very day we came to Ga-East municipality as missionaries; we have been determined to love the people with a passion; but the more we love, the more we got hurt. Maybe because we expected so much from people instead of so much from God.
Everything began to change when we came to understand that the whole world lies in wickedness. It was at this point that we understood that the very people you are sent to could easily be the same people who would endanger your life. 1 John 5:19 tells us that though we are born of God the whole world lies in wickedness. As you go about in ministry, marriage and business remember that the whole world lies in wickedness. Don’t just trust people, know that they may look good and innocent but they live in a world ruled by wickedness; and they could be influenced.
Beware and be wise, the whole world lies in wickedness. We are as sheep among wolves. We must therefore be as wise as serpents. We cannot walk around without wisdom. We must walk with the wisdom of a serpent. This is the surest way to prosperity.

I won’t expect so much from people anymore. God’s Grace is sufficient for me. Lord, grant me the Grace and wisdom to discern and be able to single out the good from the bad. Amen! God bless you pastor
