[Revelation 12:17 KJV] “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ“.
The truth is, we stand in the middle of a battle that is ragging on in the earth realms. There is a dragon and a host of demon spirits that are fighting and warring against us – the remnant of the seed that keeps the commandments of God and the testimony of Christ. The war is fierce and hot and we are poised to fight and win.
The Bible assures us that both our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are interceding for us. They are making effectual intercession for us. (Romans 11:2; Roman 8:26-27, 34)
[Romans 11:2 KJV] “God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,”
[Romans 8:26-27,34 KJV] “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. [27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. [34] Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us”.
None of us is alone in this battle. We are warring alright but the Lord is interceding for us. He is standing in the gap for us. The battle cry is on but the Lord is interceding for us.
The devil is after four key things. He wants to stop;
- The program to save all men;
- The building of strong people and families;
- The building of the kingdom of our God, and
- The establishing of the power and authority of our Christ.
These are the four main things the devil is after. This is what he is fighting. He has vowed to stop the salvation of men, the building of the kingdom of our God, and exercising of the Christ authority.
He uses three main weapons which we can neutralize and overcome by the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and by not loving our lives even unto death. The devil uses three key weapons; deception, accusation, and persecution or affliction. The devil tried deceiving Job, and when it did not work, he accused him to God before the sons of God, and when that did not work, he obtained permission to tempt him and afflict him. The devil tried to deceive our Lord Jesus, when that did not work he accused him of blasphemy, and when that did not work, he subjected him to affliction and persecution.
If you can win this epic battle that is raging, you must beware of deception, accusation, and affliction. Is any afflicted, let him pray, because afflictions is of the devil. He uses that to make many people to submit to his demands.
I pray for you, that you will not lose the commandments of our God and the testimony of His Christ. I pray that you will press forward and not lose the zeal to fight forward. Stay blessed!
