I want to exhort you to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; to simply obey the truth both in my presence and absence.
[Philippians 2:12 KJV] “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
You can never work out your salvation unless your obedience is without hypocrisy, guile, and malice. Some of the greatest enemies of spiritual growth are malice, guile, hypocrisy, and evil speakings. These are great enemies of faith and spiritual growth. We must all decide to continue in prayer, fellowship and obedience both in the chapels and from house to house. There is a call on us from the realms of the spirit to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
The most important thing is to understand that it’s a working out; it’s not a leisure walk. No one can be saved, healed and protected by taking a leisure walk, we must work it out. We must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. There are times when you may feel tired, exhausted, or worn out; but remember, it is work.
The third thing you must remember is that you must work out your own salvation; no one can do it for you; you cannot work out my salvation for me. I work out my salvation and you must also work yours out. It is our individual responsibility to work out our own salvation.
Finally, you must work out your own salvation; because this earth will melt with fervent heat and the heavens will roll like a mat. There is a great day of judgement coming and each of us must strive to escape.

[2 Peter 3:11-12 KJV] “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”
This is the truth, so then what manner of persons must we be if we are working out our own salvation? What manner of persons must we be if we are looking forward to the great dawn of rapture? What manner of persons must we be if we are looking for that great day of God? The Bible suggests that if we truly believe that there is hell and heaven, and that fire will burn one day, then there is a way we will live our lives. We will become, first of all, believers, then children. We will become building blocks in God’s house. We will be worshippers, ministers, missionaries, and ambassadors. We will be intercessors, we be our brother’s keeper, and we will be givers. These are the things that will show that we are aware and concerned that the heavens will roll away like a mat and the earth shall be melted with fervent heat.
- Every member must be a believer
- Every member must be converted into a child
- Every member must be a building block
- Every member must be a worshipper
- Every member must be a follower
- Every member must be a minister
- Every member must be a missionary
- Every member should be an ambassador
- Every member must be an intercessor
- Every member must be his brother’s keeper
- Every member must be a giver
This is who we must be in all our conversation and lifestyle. I pray for you that you will not miss the day of the Lord.
Stay blessed, I love you!
