Philippians 4:6 KJV — “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God“
One day, I heard Joyce Meyer say “worry is pride…” and I learnt that. Why do I believe that worrying is pride?
By worrying, you are saying that you can fix your problems by thinking about them; which is not true.
What God wants to see is you talking about your problems to Him first. God wants to hear your voice discussing your problems with Him, seeking His direction and grace.
We must learn to pray about our problems; to see whether there is something we can do or we just have to wait on God to do something.
Whenever there is a problem, there are three things:
- Either God waits to train and develop your strength or
- He wants to train your faith or
- God wants to show His glory in you
Let us learn to pray about our challenges to know what God is up to.
Jeremiah 33:3 says when we call, He will shew us great and mighty things that we didn’t know.
Quit worrying and start praying; then the peace of God will keep and protect your hearts in Christ Jesus!
Stay blessed
