[John 15:16 KJV] “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
The truth remains that we are called to bear fruits that will remain. This is the only reason you are called. Many of us are not even attempting hence will soon be cut off. The results of not bearing fruits is scary and we must strive to escape them.
The Bible teaches that the Lord will cut off those who don’t bear fruits. The Lord does not want anyone to take up space for nothing. He told the parable of a man who planted a fig tree in his vineyard; he came year after year to seek fruits, and when he didnt not find fruits, he ordered the tree to be cut down. Listen we must bear fruits.
[Luke 13:6-9 KJV] “He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?”
“And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it : and if it bear fruit, well : and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.”
[Acts 19:20 KJV]“So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”
The secret to bear fruits is to allow the word of God to grow mightily in you and prevail. When the word abides and grow in you, it will prevail and win over the human nature that lives in you.
The secret to bearing fruits is actually to allow the word of God to dwell in you richly. We cannot do anything unless we stay in the Lord and allow the word to abide in us.
[John 15:1-8 KJV]“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”.
“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
This is the reason for our calling; we are called as branches of a vine; or as trees of righteousness planted to bear fruits. We are called to bears fruits that abide. I pray that you shall bear fruits that abide in the name of Jesus Christ!
Stay blessed
