John 15:16 (KJV) – “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
Your life in Christ is not an accident; it is the result of a divine choice. Jesus reminds us that we did not first choose Him, He chose us, set us apart, and appointed us with a purpose. That purpose is not merely to exist as believers but to bear fruit, fruit of righteousness, good works, transformed lives, and a witness that points others to God. When God chooses a person, He also equips and empowers that person to fulfill His assignment.
Therefore, do not underestimate your calling. Wherever God has placed you, your home, church, workplace, or community, is a field where your fruit must grow. As you abide in Christ and walk in obedience, the fruit of your life will not be temporary but lasting. And as you pursue His purpose faithfully, the Father hears your prayers and supplies the grace you need to live a fruitful life.
