Jonah 1:1-4 KJV — “Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, [2] Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. [3] But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. [4] But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.“
There is no where you can go far from God or the reach of God. His hands are not short that cannot save; you are not out of reach. God can reach and save you, no matter how far you think you have drifted from God.
I am not here to judge you. I am not fully aware of what might have influence your decision to go away from God. Jonah drifted and run away from God because he knew who God is. He was running awaý from the purpose of God for his life. Many of us are running away from so many things; but many of us can return to the place of grace.
No matter how far you think you have drifted, you are not far from home. You can return home. Our father is waiting to welcome you home. If you hear my voice today, don’t hàrden you heart.
Stay blessed
