1 Corinthians 15:9-10 KJV — For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. [10] But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
In the text above Apostle Paul teaches us the secret of being set above his superiors. He teaches how he was able to do more than the prime apostles; though he was the least.
He cites two reasons as his secret;
- The grace of God
- Abundant labour
He further admonished the church in a second letter, not to take the grace of God in vain. Many people fail in life because they take the grace of God for granted. Many people are so overwhelmed by their beauty and gifts that they don’t take time to develop it. Don’t take the grace of God in vain. Never take the grace on your life for granted. To whom much is given, much is expected. If you feel great grace, then it’s time for abundant labour.
2 Corinthians 6:1 KJV — We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
If you really want to soar high with excellence and results, learn to GROW in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. You must learn to sharpen your gifts and tools. Sometimes what you need is an up-grade technology and gifts. We must learn to grow in grace and knowledge. Life is dynamic and everyday comes with new opportunities to innovate and advance.
2 Peter 3:17-18 KJV — Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. [18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
The second secret is to labour abundantly above others
You must be willing to do more if you want to stay above. To whom much is given, much is expected. Let us brace ourselves to labour more abundantly to stay above.
There is no other way to soar and stay above others by the grace of God. You can argue, cry, and even fight; grace and abundant labour is the secret to soar and stay above only.
May the Lord give you grace! May you grow in grace and also in knowledge! May you stay above only and not beneath! May the Lord help you to excel!
Stay blessed
