Luke 24:49 KJV — And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
No matter how ready and prepared you think you are for life, you need the supernatural power of God. We need power more than anything else. You will do better when you receive the power. It’s important to remember that:
Life is a game of power
There are so many things that are projected against you. You need power to thread up on serpents and scorpions and over every power of the enemy. This life is a jungle infested with ferocious beasts and creeping things. Wickedness is real, witchcraft is real; but more real is the power of God.
By strength shall no man prevail
Human arm and strength will fail you. You must seek to be endued with power from on high, if you are going to excel. We need that power. There are so many things projected and fighting against us. We must be up and doing; to seek to be endued with power.
Even Jesus Christ could do what He did because he was anointed with the spirit and power
Acts 10:38 teaches that God anointed Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost and with power.
We cannot play church anymore. We must arise and seek for power. We need this power to walk in victory and authority. We need the power and we must get the power.
Prophetic Prayer and declaration
I am a child and a servant of God, anointed with power and the Holy Spirit; I am empowered to do good and heal those vexed by devils. Nothing will stop me now, because the hand of God is upon me!
