The simple secret to become an effective witness is the anointing.
[Acts 1:8 KJV] “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.“
The Lord told the early disciples that they should recieve power after the Holy ghost is come upon them and they would be witnesses unto Him. The transforming power is in the presence of the Holy Ghost upon you. The power follows the baptism.
The Holy Spirit baptism is the seed for power to become. You shall recieve power and become witnesses after the Holy Spirit is come upon you.
So then, how then do you recieve the baptism of Holy Spirit?
1. Develop a deep hunger and desire for Him through study
Through hunger, a man shall seperate himself and seek for Him. The early church went to the upper room for 10 days. They waited on Him.
2. Wait on Him
The early church waited on Him through Bible study and prayer. Jesus asked the Father for His presence.
3. Ask the Father to send the Spirit
Ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit. He will freely send Him to us. He will not turn Hid back on you. The promise is to us and to our children’s children; even to those who are yet to believe.
4. Continue to fellowship
Continue to fellowship with Him for the release of power. After our Lord Jesus Christ receieved the Holy Spirit, He was led into the wilderness to be tempted. He was tempted for 40 days and 40 nights, and He returned in the Spirit’s power
