You Were Created to Make a Difference

We are created and called by God to make an impact and make a difference in our areas of calling, on any of the seven mountains of life: Religion and faith, business and commerce, science and technology, media and transportation, governance and order, arts and entertainment, and in education and training. Every one of us is called and graced to make an impact and a difference.

You cannot make any significant impact and a difference in life except you have supernatural abilities. No man can prevail by the arm of flesh. You must be anointed to make an impact. Even the Lord Jesus Christ was able to do good because He was anointed.

[Acts 1:8] “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.

[Acts 10:38]  “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”.

Now, I want to share with you three simple steps to power:

1. Fellowship with the master,
2. Spend time alone with God and
3. Exhibit utmost integrity in privacy.

The Lord Jesus Christ was anointed because He fellowshipped with John Baptist, He then had an open heaven experience and was filled with the Holy Ghost. Then He was also led into the wilderness to spend time alone with God. Quiet times are important, you must make time to practice solitude. Jesus Christ demonstrated utmost integrity even when He was alone in the wilderness (See Matthew 4:1-11)

On the road to power, there are three pitfalls that must be careful to avoid;

1. The trap to prove that you are something;
2. The love of money, power, and glory; and
3. The trap to prove that God will be faithful to His Word.

You must escape these pitfalls by living by both the bread and every word that comes out of the mouth of God; by worshipping and serving only the Lord your God alone; and by trusting and never tempting the Lord.

I pray that you can really make a difference in your world. You will not fail, you will win. God will take you far.
