Psalms 19:13-14 NLT — Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. [14] May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
No matter how much you pray, you thoughts are more powerful than your prayers. When you think of the wrong things, your wrong thought pattern will neutralize everything you said in prayer. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.“
Remember that your thoughts are more powerful in influencing the outcome of your life than your prayers. “As a man thinks in his heart so is he!” When the elders of Israel walked out of promised land looking like grasshoppers in their own eyes, no amount of prayer could change anything for them. As you think in your heart is more important than what you say in prayer.
Whenever you begin to pray remember that there are four elements that must work together and be in sync: the thoughts of your mind, the meditation of your heart, the words of your mouth and the cry of the spirit. All four must be accepted to the Lord!
We know that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think! Asking and thinking are on the same level.
I encourage you to think right! Fix your thoughts on the word of God day and night. Psalm 1:1-3 says “blessed is the man that meditates on the word day and night“. Let us meditate on the word to give life to our prayers.
Stay blessed
