All of us can do some things, but we can as well do all things through Christ which strengthens us. That is to say that the anointing is the secret to doing all things. The anointing enables performance. ‘Christ’ means the anointed one, in fact, the anointing.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13 KJV)
The text for today’s is teaching us how to have a can-do spirit, and actually do all things. The world may do certain things but a child of God can step into the realms of doing all things through Christ. We can do all things; the text did not say that Christ can do all things for us. The Bible says that Christ strengthens us to do all things.
Christ, the anointing strengthens us to do all things. We can do all things but not in our own might; the Lord strengthens us to do all things.
So simple steps to do all things through Christ who strengthens you includes;
- Believing that Christ Jesus is ready to strengthen you:
The first step to finding the strengthening to do all things is faith in Christ. You must believe; Because all things are possible to him that believes.
- Be connected to Christ by His body:
John 15:5 teaches clearly that without Christ we can do nothing. Christ is our source of strength. We can do all things through Him.
- Read your Bible and pray every day:
We can do all things when we spend just about half an hour daily in prayer and Bible study. This is where we find the strength to do all that we have to do.
- Discipline yourself and redeem the time:
Discipline is a Christian terminology. There is a call on us to be disciplined and buy up the time because the days are evil.
- Find your purpose and give thyself wholly to it:
Fulltime commitment delivers full-time results. Find your purpose and all other things will work together to your good. Give yourself wholly to that purpose and you will enjoy the fullness of blessing.

Pastor I am so blessed and encouraged by this word.
I believe the can-do spirit is at work in my life as I daily draw strength from Christ (reading and studying the word,prayer and fellowship with brethren in the HighCity Church), and give myself wholly to my purpose (rising to raise others) In Jesus’ name.
Just what I needed for today. I know Christ is ever ready to strengthen me when I get connected to Him.
