We want to share on faithfulness.
[1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV] “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful”.
What then is faithfulness?
Faithfullness is to remain constant to your faith and vows through all the changing scenes and times of life. It is a decision to remain constant and unchanging no matter what.
Why faithfulness?
Many atimes people ask, why faithfulness? Well, faithfulness is a fundamental virtue for living that rewards the loyal with increase, ownership, true riches. Those who serve faithfully will be rewarded with true prosperity and ownership. Your faithfuless will lead to true riches and possession.
Luke 16:10-12 KJV teaches that “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?” God shall trust you with true riches and possession when He finds you faithful.
The direction of faithfulness:
Your faithfulness must be towards the one who appointed you. Faithfulness like a stream in the midst of rocks has only one direction; to the one who appointed you. Hebrews 3 reading from verse 1 teaches that both our Lord Jesus Christ and Moses were faithful to the one who appionted them. Faithfulness is towards the one who appointed you.
Dynamics of faithfulness:
In understanding the dynamics of faithfulness, we must understand that, faithfulness has never been about leadership; it have always been about followership. Inasmuch as faithfulness may not be demanded but it is required. It is required of a steward that he may be found faithful. (See 1 Corinthian 4:2). You as a follower must make a decision to follow faithfully (See John 6:37). It is a requirement for promotion in stewardship. It is required of a steward to be found faithful.
Areas where faithfulness is demanded:
There are three areas you must be faith in;
- Little things,
- Money, and
- Stewardship – that which belongs to another.
It is possible and rewarding to be faithful. Nothing beats faithfulness.
